• For the holiday shortened trading week, US equities rallied with the S&P 500, the DJIA, and the NASDAQ all finishing on a positive note.

• There was little change in the bond market with treasuries finishing the week flat.

• For November, gold prices dropped 5.5%, their worst November since 1978.

• Initial claims for unemployment came in at 316,000.

• In October, unfilled orders for core capital goods hit a new record high rising 0.3%.

• For the week, small-cap stocks outperformed large-cap stocks while large-cap growth outperformed large-cap value stocks.

• Info tech, consumer discretionary and industrials were the best performing sectors for the week while energy, utilities and materials were the worst performing sectors for the week.

• For the week ending 11/29/13, the S&P 500 gained 0.06% closing at 1805.81. The MSCI EAFE Index gained 0.82% closing at 1888.91 and the MSCI EM Index rose 0.90% to end the week at 1018.28.
